XXVI. Trouble shooting
Before asking for repairs, conduct your own inspection first. If you find a problem that is not explained in the manual, do not attempt to dismantle the tool.
Instead, ask BORMANN Authorized Service Centers, always using BORMANN replacement parts for repairs.
Problem
The chain saw does not start.
The motor stops running after a little use.
No oil on the chain.
The chain saw does not reach maximum RPM.
Abnormal vibration:
Stop the machine immediately!

Cause
Battery cartridges is not installed.
Battery problem (low voltage).
Battery's charge level is low.
Out of lubricating oil
Battery cartridge is installed improperly.
Battery power is dropping.
The drive system does not work correctly.
Loose guide bar or saw chain.
Tool malfunction.

Resolution
Install charged battery cartridges.
Recharge the battery cartridges. If recharging
is not effective, replace the battery cartridge.
Recharge the battery cartridges. If recharging

Refuel the saw chain
Install the battery cartridges as described in
this manual.
Recharge the battery cartridges. If recharging
