Battery test immediately after switching off the energiser
1. Turn off the energiser
2. Depending on the battery voltage the three red LEDs and the respective number of green
LEDs will flash briefly three times.
13.2 V to 12.7 V:
12.6 V to 11.7 V:
Below 11.7 V:
the battery protection (against total discharge) is selected, the energiser is turned off (if the
energiser was working full power, the LED on the far right hand side would flash also.)
Battery test when connecting the battery
1. Connect the battery
2. Battery control (small red LED above the switch) illuminates.
3. The control LEDs illuminate separately from left to right and back again.
4. The three red LEDs and the first three of the green LEDs illuminate at the same time.
5. Depending on the battery voltage the three red LEDs and the respective number of green
LEDs will flash briefly three times.
13.2 V to 12.7 V: 3 red and 5 green LEDs are flashing
12.6 V to 11.7 V: 3 red and 4 green LEDs are flashing
11.6 V to 10.9 V: 3 red and 3 green LEDs are flashing
Below 10.9 V: 3 red and 2 green LEDs are flashing

Battery selection and management
This section refers exclusively to rechargeable, lead­acid batteries, for example car, tractor,
truck, marine or specialist deep­cycle batteries.
The battery you select will depend on whether your installation is a battery­only or a solar
installation. For both types of installation, the position of the energiser selector switch will
