6. Attach the red, positive (+) energiser clip to the positive terminal of the battery and the
black (­) clip to its negative terminal.
Note:
Do not connect to mains­operated or line­operated equipment. Remove the battery from
the energiser before recharging the battery. When charging the battery ensure that there is
adequate ventilation to allow gases to disperse.
Installing the energiser inside
Warning:
Before installing the energiser, ensure the energiser selector switch is switched off.
Select a suitable place for the energiser.
1. For installation in buildings without fire risk make sure the energiser and battery are level.
Mount them above floor level and out of reach of children
2. Mount the energiser on a wall. Use the template attched.
3. Connect the energiser fence output terminal
(red) to the fence.
4. Connect the energiser fence earth terminal
(green) to the earth stake
5. To by­pass longer distances use insulated
high voltage cable.
