7. Starting the LEADER
First place the device at the beginning of the area to
be sprinkled. Please ensure that the supports are
fixed firmly in the ground (fig. 1).
Disconnecting the turbine in neutral position
To disconnect the turbine, remove the securing
hook (fig. 2).
Turn the button anti-clockwise towards the reel. Pull
the turbine lever upwards into the neutral position
(fig. 3). Screw the head of the turbine down in order
to secure it. The hose reel can now be freely
rotated.
Extracting the hose
Pull the hose out perpendicular to the machine and
leave a couple of complete windings on the hose
reel (fig. 4).
Check that the hose remaining on the reel fits tightly
and evenly on the reel and is under slight tension.

Attention: Insufficient tension can damage the
hose when it is being retracted.
Attention: The turbine must first be unlocked
(neutral position) before the hose is rolled out.
Connecting the turbine in operating position
The securing hook must be hooked back on.
Turn the button clockwise back away from the
drum.
Loosen the button of the turbine. The gears of the
turbine and drum must mesh tightly. Then tighten
the button again. The turbine is now in working
position (fig. 6).
