3.1.2 ACS 951 Mask with hood (see Fig.2)
The facepiece of ACS 951 is made of a moulded rubber mask (B1) provided with hood, it comfortably fits to any face
shape.
Two ducts moulded into the face piece lead the air to skim the lenses thus preventing steaming up.
The facepiece is also provided with:
• two exhalation valves protected by special caps (6);
• two polycarbonate lenses approved to EN 166 (par. 7.2.2) for high speed impact (120 m/sec) that protect
the wearer's eyes from possible splinters in case the external glass would break (5);
• two external glass lenses, easily replaceable, that protect safety lenses from too quick deterioration (5);
• hood, with polyurethane fabric front and strong fabric back, sewn onto the mask, protects the wearer down to the
waist (B2);
• external harness, fixed to the facepiece by means of self‐adjusting buckles for quick and easy donning (8).
3.1.3 ACS 952 hood (see Fig.3)
ABS hood (1) with adjustable head harness, from size 55 to 61 (C1). In the hood a special duct leads the air to skim
over the visor, thus avoiding steaming up.
• Chin strap, adjustable by means of a sliding buckle. It keeps the hood in position in any work situation.
• Two exhale valves with protective lid (6).
• Safety polycarbonate visor, a clear glass protects it from a too quick deterioration during shot blasting (5). The glass
can be easily replaced.
• A waistcoat made of strong fabric, coated with plastic and sewn onto the rubber profile, protects the bearer down
to the waist. (C2). The waistcoat is firmly connected to the hood by means of a special groove of the rubber profile
which adheres to the hood rim and ensures tightness. The profile is fixed to the hood by pressure studs. The inside
of the waistcoat is made of a gastight fabric provided with pull strings for the best fit around the wearer's neck.
3.2 Overflow valve (14) (only for AC 190 ‐ fig.1 pos.4)
Made of moulded rubber, with positive pressure valve and standard connector EN 148‐1 for the connection
between the mask and the TUR 60 corrugated house. The overflow valve has the purpose of releasing excess air into
the environment.
3.3 Corrugated hoses (Fig. 1,2,3 ‐ pos. 1)
Made in reinforced polyurethane, they are fitted with male swivel to connect it to the facepiece and female threaded
bush to connect to the silencer filter.
Corrugated hoses differ for their connector thread to the facepiece, while the female connector toward the EOD 55
filter is always female type RD 40x1/7''.

3.4 EOD 55 Filter silencer (fig. 1,2,3 ‐ pos. 2)
Made of shockproof polypropylene provided with female thread connector for the flow regulator AC 95 and with male
thread connector for the corrugated hose.
3.5 AC 95 Flow regulator (fig. 8 dis. 1,2,3)
It is made of an aluminium alloy nickel plated body and provided with a screw thread connector for the filter silencer
and with a male quick coupling for the connection to tube coming from the compressed air line. The flow regulator is
designed to provide a continuous flow not lower than 120 l/min and working rate adjustable from 165 to 230 l/min: A
special device releases an acoustic signal (continuous whistle), in case the pressure of the feeding air falls below the
designed value (120 l/min).
The flow regulator is mounted, together with its special support, on a waist belt. An identification label is placed on
the waist belt bearing the model name, the production year, the type marking.
The AC 95 is available in two versions:
1. with Eurocoupling couplings (cod. 9321000CJ)
2. with Spasciani quick couplings (cod. 932100000)
to connect the compatible air supply tube.
3.6 Flowmeter (only ACS ‐ Fig.2 e 3 ‐ pos. 7)
Flow meter made of clear polycarbonate. A notch indicates the minimum design air flow which is reached when the
ball overpasses it. Fitted with threaded connector pitch for hose TUR 800.
3.7 Compressed air feeding hoses (fig. 1,2,3 ‐ pos. 9) (not included in respirators kits)
EPDM hose, nontoxic, fitted with safety quick connectors.
The air feeding medium pressure hose is sold separately and can be supplied in different length cuts: 5, 10, 20, 30, 40
or 50 m. They are available with male and female quick couplings Eurocoupling type or Spasciani type for the
connection to the AC 95 flow regulator. The compressed air feeding hose is antistatic. See par. 7.2.
