Installation
Application
In emergency intercom systems for
lifts, intercom operation between
the door call station and in-house
telephones and/or between different
in-house telephones and for Siedle
Zentravox in-house telephone
switchboard intercom operation.
Caution
When using the line rectifier for
door and in-house communication,
and in connection with Zentravox
in-house telephone switchboards, a
supplementary 12 V AC min. 2A bell
transformer is required for the call /
door release function.

Installation instructions
Caution!
Electrical appliances may only be
installed and assembled by suit-
ably qualified electricians.
When working with the equipment,
please observe the instructions for
switching off at the mains.
Important!
Please observe the standard
DIN EN 60065!
For building installation, an all-pole
mains switch with a contact gap of
at least 3 mm must be provided.

The required number of cores is

grams. Reserve cores should be
taken into consideration to ensure
retrofitting capability.

Conductor routing
In order to fulfil the general safety
requirements governing communica-
tion facilities as stipulated by
VDE 0800 and in order to avoid
disturbing in-fluences, heavy and
weak current conductors must be
routed separately, observing a mini-
mum distance of 10 cm (3,9 in.)
apart.
The conductor from the door loud-
speaker must be laid directly to the
main terminal box without branch
lines.
Ranges
Siedle Zentravox units
The loop resistance (forward and re-
turn) must not exceed 54 Ω.
With a core diameter of 0.8 mm, is
achieved, a range of appr. 800 m.

To supply the switchboard, an addi-
tional 12 V AC transformer with suf-
ficient output, such as TR 602-0,
must be used.
Emergency call intercom
units/lifts
Twisted-pair shielded cable IY(ST)Y
with a 0.8 mm core diameter is re-
quired.
With an 0.8 mm core diameter, the
range is appr. 800 m.

Door and in-house telephone
communication
The loop resistance (forward and re-
turn) must not exceed 20 Ω. With a
core diameter of 0.8 mm, is achie-
ved, a range of appr. 260 m.
