8HP oil change
Prerequisites
 Limp home mode deactivated
 Vehicle lighting, air conditioner and electronic consumers are switched off.
 The vehicle is in a horizontal position on the platform.
 Selector lever to P
 Parking brake is engaged.
 Testing device to read the transmission oil temperature is connected.

ZF 8HP automatic transmissions:
Filling with oil (e.g. after a repair)
Open the oil fill lock screw.
Fill the prescribed ZF-LifeguardFluid until
it runs out of the filler hole.
Start the engine.
Fill the prescribed ZF-LifeguardFluid until
it runs out of the filler hole.
Is transmission oil cooler present?
Overfill with 0.5 l.
Close the oil fill screw plug.
Drive the vehicle until the valve opens
(T < 75 °C).
