4.3 Automatic programming of coffee serving (single or double serving)

Turn the machine off by turning the main switch 1.

Press and hold key B (single coffee) and while doing so turn on the machine. The machine will enter pro-
gramming mode and the LED of push button B will flash.

Prepare the machine to dispense a single coffee and set the cup under the dispensing spout.
4.
Press once on key B. Once the desired amount of coffee is reached in the cup, press key B again to stop
dispensing and thus memorize the length of time of dispensing.
Repeat the same steps (from point 1 on) for the double serving (key C).
5. Operating instructions
5.1 Coffee preparation
During the flow of espresso coffee, tea or steam, these substances can cause burns due to acci-
dental skin contact.
5.2 Dispensing of coffee in manual mode
1)
Prepare the machine to dispense either a single or double coffee.
2)
Press and release key A (manual coffee) to start dispensing coffee.
3)
Once the desired serving amount is reached in the cup, press A again to stop dispensing.
5.3 Dispensing of coffee in automatic mode
1)
Prepare the machine to dispense either a single or double coffee.
2)
Press and release key B (single coffee) or key C (double coffee) to start coffee dispensing.
3)
Once the programmed serving amount has been reached, dispensing will stop automatically.
5.4 Pre-infusion mode
Dispensing of coffee with pre-infusion mode can be enabled or disabled as the user desires by pressing key
D (the LED of the key signals whether this mode is active or not).
5.5 Drawing hot water
Hot water is drawn by the spout 9 and can be used to prepare infusions, tea, camomile tea, to heat cups, to
add water to an espresso and to obtain American-style coffee, and so on.
Use the hot water drawing lever 8 (lowering it, raising it or moving it to the side) to dispense hot water from
the spout.
5.6 Drawing steam
A jet of steam, which can be used to foam milk or to heat other liquids, comes out of the steam drawing spout 7
as follows: by raising or lowering the lever 6 you attain the maximum flow (the lever stops in the maximum posi-
tion. To stop the flow of steam, place the lever back in its original position); if you move the lever sideways you
will obtain reduced steam flow (the lever does not block, and if released it goes back to its original position).
