FITTING
1. If a spare wheel is present, removing the hook bracket on the chassis cab may be required. Lower the spare
wheel until the Sidearms (D) are fully tightened into position.
2. Loosely attach Sidearms (D) with Spacers (B) to each chassis using fixings (E). Plastic wiring fixings may
need to be moved to make fitment easier.
3. Loosely attach Crossbar (A) to Sidearms (D) using Bolts (F) in the correct position for the vehicle (see
diagrams below). Note: Crossbar may be rotated by 180 degrees to alter coupling height by 45mm.
4. Check the alignment of the Crossbar (A) before tightening bolts.
5. Re-position the spare wheel (if present) using the large hole in the Sidearm (D) for the hook.
6. Fully tighten all fixings to the correct torque setting.
Note: This towbar must be used a Class A50-1 or A50-X/S towball dimensionally conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and
'S' value greater than or equal to the calculated vehicle/trailer 'D'. May also be used with Adjustable Coupling Z52B.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm (Grade 8.8)... M12 - 130 Nm (Grade 10.9)
