6-1 - Calculation of required number of valves
The following formula determines the number of valves needed for a given case.

Number of valves
V = Volume of the room in m³
T = Time variation in min. for 1 °C
t = Room température in C°. 273 and 1,3 are constant values.
Example : for V = 5 000 T = 15 minutes for 1 °C t = -30 °C
Number of valves :
1,3x5000
15(273-30)
If above data are exactly observed, the 2 valves will ensure that an evently distributed pressure of 300 PA
(30 kg/m²) is not exceeded.
