5. Under each end of the scraper bar (C, Figure 21), put a
wooden block (A, B) of the same thickness as the necessary
clearance height.

6. Make sure that each skid shoe tightly touches the surface.
Then tighten the mounting nuts.
NOTICE To prevent contact with the auger, make sure that
the mounting nuts are at the outer side of the auger housing.
Lubricating the Control Lever Linkage
1. Apply a drop of clean engine oil to the pivot points (A, Figure
22) on the control levers.
2. Apply a drop of oil to the speed selector pivot points (B)
under the dash panel.
3. Apply a drop of oil to the control rod connections (C) at the
lower housing.

Lubricating the Discharge Chute, Deflector
and Wheel Axle
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Apply a light layer of lithium grease to the rotation gear (A,
Figure 1) at the base of the discharge chute.
3. Apply a drop of clean engine oil to the pivot points (B) on
the chute deflector.
4. Lubricate the two wheel axles (C) with lithium grease.
