SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Prior to assembly, all assemblers or users must read the present instructions. The assembly instructions
must be strictly observed as failure to do so may endanger lives! Immediately stop assembly of the fall
arrester device, in the event of difficulties during this operation. More information can be obtained from
the manufacturer.
Ensure that the operating instructions accompanying the Mobilfix (eyelet) are stored in a dry
place and are accessible to all users at any time.
Before and during use a visual check on the operability of the system should be performed
Ensure that the substructure is capable of bearing the load prior to installing the Mobilfix terminal.
A single anchor point may only be installed in reinforced or non-reinforced normal weight concrete with a
strength classes of minimum C20/25 and maximum C50/60 according to EN 206:2000-12.
Comply with the approval information and processing instructions for the WIT-PE 500 injection mortar if
the terminal is to be installed in concrete. The system approval becomes invalid if another type of injection
mortar or fastening equipment is used for installing the Mobilfix terminal in concrete (min. grade C20/25).
The system has been tested and approved with Würth WIT-PE 500 and it must only be anchored using
this type of injection mortar. (Ask your local dealer for the supply of the glue)
Use the Mobilfix eyelet (AP-018) only in combination with the Mobilfix terminal (AP-018-T/T2).
Compatibility with similar systems is not guaranteed and failure to comply with this specification may pose
a hazard to life and limb.
The purpose of the anchoring point is to arrest persons, not objects, from falls and it should not be used
as a transport anchoring point.
The anchoring point is capable of bearing a maximum of 3 persons.

Avoid carrying out tasks above the anchoring point (see operating instructions for lanyard).
Only trained and instructed users may use the anchoring point.
The employer or a technical expert should instruct the user in how to correctly use the system.
A technical expert must check and service the Mobilfix eyelet once a year.
Check the anchoring point and other personal fall arrest equipment (PFAE) for defects before each use.
Do not use these products if you have any doubt about their correct functioning and, if this is the case,
have a technical expert check the products.
Do not use damaged anchoring points and/or lanyards or any other parts of the personal fall arrest
equipment (PFAE). Have the system or the PFAE checked by the manufacturer or a technical expert if
necessary.
Following a fall, do not use the Mobilfix eyelet or Mobilfix terminal again.
Incorrectly applied adhesives or incorrectly fitted threaded fittings may become loose and compromise the
safe functioning of the Mobilfix AP-018-T/T2.
Unauthorised repairs and maintenance may endanger lives! For safety reasons, repairs may only be
carried out subject to consultation with the manufacturer. Failure to do so will result in all warranties
becoming invalid and SKYLOTEC refusing any liability.
This product may only be used with lanyard elements (in conformity with EN 362) and personal fall arrest
equipment.
Comply with the corresponding operating manuals and applicable regulations if you use furthe r personal
fall arrest equipment.
