Caution
Short circuits can cause damage.
Provide external fuse protection for the additional sup-
plies. The permissible current per pin at the supply is:
– 7/8" plug (5-pin)
max. 8 A
– Push Pull plug (5-pin),
max. 16 A

connector. Values apply for plug connectors from Festo
Accessories. If using third-party products, comply with
the applicable specifications.
3.5 Start-up behaviour of the CPX terminal
If the M LED lights up permanently after the system start,
then "System start with saved parametrisation and saved
CPX system equipment" is set.
Caution
In the case of CPX terminals on which the M-LED lights
up permanently, parametrising will not be restored
automatically by the higher-order system if the CPX
terminal is replaced after servicing. In this case, check
before replacement to see which settings are required
and carry out these settings.
