1. Removing the standard inside stick
Unfurl the sunshade slightly and unscrew the standard inside
•
stick (A) in an anticlockwise direction.
2. Fitting the crank handle set
Push the threaded part (B) through the slide ring (S) and screw
•
into the sunshade crown (K).
Pull off the locking clip (C) and click it in again after having
•
introduced the set through the slide ring (S).
If the metal slide (S) on your sunshade should be too tight,
•
you can obtain a new one that fits properly. Just contact your
specialist dealer.
4. Setting the sunshade tilt
If necessary, rotate the ring handle (D) in an anticlockwise
•
direction by ½ a rotation in order to release the ball joint.
Move the sunshade to the required position and lock it again by
•
turning the ring handle (D) in a clockwise direction.
For extreme tilted settings or in order to fold the closed sunshade
•
together, move the ball neck (H) into the recess (G) in the joint
socket.
3. Opening the sunshade
Grasp the sunshade with one hand on the ring handle
•
and swivel it to a comfortable operating height.
Rotate the crank handle (E) in the direction marked
•
AUF (OPEN) until both parts of the stick have retracted (F).
Fix the sunshade to the crank handle set by rotating the ring
•
handle (D) in a clockwise direction until it locks the ball joint
in the crown (K).
5. Closing the sunshade
Release the ball joint by rotating the ring handle (D) by ½ a turn in
•
an anticlockwise direction.
Rotate the crank handle (E) in an anticlockwise direction until the
•
sunshade is completely closed. While doing so, the sunshade can
be swivelled so far to the side that you do not have to bend down.
