InTouch

The extraction hood has the InTouch function. If you have
an induction hob from Novy with InTouch, you can opera-
te the extraction hood from the hob. The extraction hood
can also be operated with a remote control (accessory).
The InTouch function is switched off by default. The func-
tion can be switched on by pressing the
key at the same time for 3 seconds. The 2nd and 3rd
LEDs flash 3 times to confirm. (The unit must be switched
off).
To switch the InTouch function off press the

4. MAINTENANCE

4.1
Grease filters
The cooker hood contains 2, 3 or 4 metal grease filters,
dependent on the type number.
Grease filter indication
After 20 cooking hours, the 4 LEDs will start to blink
during 5 minutes, this indicates that the grease filter
has to be cleaned.

Cleaning the filter
The grease filter can be cleaned as follows:
• Manually: Immerse the filter in a solution of boiling
water to which a degreasing detergent has been
added. Then rinse the filters with warm water under
a tap and allow them to dry.
• In a dishwasher: use the lowest temperature and
the shortest programme. The filter can discolour so-
mewhat in a dishwasher. This has no influence on
the working of the filter.
Reset grease filter indication
When replacing the cleaned filter, you have to reset the
hood by pushing the

We advise you to clean your filter twice a month for an
optimal operation.
