POSSIBLE CAUSES
Gas supply is off
Check gas supply. turn OFF and ON your gas supply and try lighting
again.
Faulty Pulse Igniter
If a spark occurs anywhere but the igniter tip, replace the igniter. Check
to see if the grill will match-light. See "Manually Lighting the Main Grill"
in the "Outdoor Grill Use" section.
Ignition electrode not in correct position.
The distance from the tip of the electrode to the burner should be
4 mm.
Spark is not produced
Check if Pulse Igniter button is producing Snapping sound when
pushed. Remove the Cooking Grate and Flame Tamer Panel to check for
spark on the electrode as expected when Igniter button is pushed.
Battery health
Make sure that AA battery is not oxidized and contains enough charge.
Check your igniter battery and replace if needed. Check to see if debris
is blocking the electrodes. Is one of your burners turned on? Allow up
to four seconds of gas flow to ignite.
Lack of gas.
Check gas level in propane cylinder. Check main shut-off valve is open.
Supply hose is pinched.
Reposition supply hose as necessary.
Dirty or clogged orifice. Spider webs or other matter in venturi tube.
Clean burner orifice . Clean out venturi tube.
Regulator in "low flow" state (only if using propane)
All gas grill valves must be in the off position when the tank valve is
turned on. Turn tank valve on slowly to allow pressure to equalize.
