Assembly
Avoid unintentional starting of the machine. During as-
sembly and for all work on the machine, the power plug
must not be connected to the mains supply.
Inserting/Replacing the Band-saw Blade
Always wear protective gloves when mounting the
band-saw blade. Danger of injury when touching the
band-saw blade.
Always wear safety goggles. Safety goggles will reduce
the risk of injuries.
Selecting a Band-saw Blade
An overview of recommended band-saw blades can be found
at the end of these instructions.
Inserting/Replacing the Band-saw Blade
(see Fig. A1 – A4)
– Swing the lever 15 by 180° to release the pre-
tension on the band-saw blade 12.
– Pull the locking flaps 17 outward and fold up the cover 16.
– Freehand cutting/Stationary operation: Guide the
band-saw blade 12 step by step between the saw blade
guides 18. The back of the saw blade must touch the bear-
ings in the lower part of the saw blade guides 18.
Cutting close to walls: Place the band-saw blade 12 step
by step in front of the saw blade guides 19. The back of the
saw blade must touch the bearings in the lower part of the
saw blade guides 19.
– Guide the band-saw blade 12 step by step around the two
rollers 20.
– Swing the lever 15 by 180° to tension the
band-saw blade 12.
