2. Technical Information

This is a clean burning stove, which has a minimal
emission of soot particles and un-burnt gases (e.g.
CO). Use exclusively clean and dry wood.

3. Distance to combustible material

(FIG 1) Ensure that the safety distances are
respected. The distance from the front of the stove
to furniture needs to be at least 1 metre. When
connecting a steel chimney to the top outlet use the
security distances required from the manufacturer.

4. Fresh air supply

Additional supply of combustion air can be added
directly by channelling it directly from the outside, or
indirectly by a vent in the exterior wall of the room
where the stove is situated.

5. Assembly

The following tools are necessary:
5 mm allen key
6 mm allen key
caulking gun (for the stove cement)
an adjustable spanner
screwdriver / star screwdriver
Functions (FIG 2-10)
FIG 2: The door is opened by gently pressing (about
10 mm) and releasing the handle. Close the door
by pressing the handle together with the door. If the
handle is pressed too much the door will open again.
FIG 4: The air vent control is adjusted by moving the
wheel on the right side of the door.
FIG 5: Remove the transportation safety device and
lift the smoke baffle up into its position.
FIG 7: The cold-handle is fastened under the stove by
magnet. On Trio II it is fastened on the inside of the
door of the pedestal.
FIG 8: Remove ashes by shaking the ash grate with

Thermotte® Plates
There are six Thermotte® plates (Fig 6), that are
already mounted inside the stove. Should it be
necessary to renew one or several plates, contact
your dealer. See chapter on maintenance.

In case the Thermotte® plates need to be uninstalled,
do as follows (NB! Handle the plates with care as they
easily break):
1. Lift up the smoke baffle (A) with one hand
2. Remove side plate B or C
3. Take out the smoke baffle (A) and remove
remaining parts

Flue Outlet Collar

Trio is delivered as standard with a top flue outlet
collar. In order to change to a posterior mounted flue
outlet (FIG 11-15):
1.
Remove the entire loose top lid
2.
Unscrew the flue outlet collar with a 5 mm allen key
3.
Remove the perforated decoration lid in the back
with a hammer, or saw it out with a hacksaw
4.
Unscrew the sheet steel lid
5.
Fasten the collar on the posterior flue outlet
6.
Fasten the sheet steel lid on the top flue outlet
7.
Position the top lid
