MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
C 1 Centre Strut
D 4 M12 x 30 x 1.25mm Fine Pitch Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
E 2 Side Plates
F 1 Right Hand Side Arm
G 1 Left Hand Side Arm
H 2 M12 x 110 x 1.25mm Fine Pitch Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
J 8 M12 x 30 x 1.25mm Fine Pitch Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
K 6 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm Standard Pitch Bolts and 4 Nyloc Nuts
M 2 M12 x 100 x 1.75mm Standard Pitch Bolts and Nyloc Nuts (Grade 10.9. - Torque setting 139Nm)
CB 2 M16 x 65 x 2.0mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
CP 1 10mm Coupling Packer
ZEP2 1 Electrical Plate
FITTING
*** NOTE THIS TOWBAR HAS DIFFERENT THREAD PITCHES WITHIN THE BOLT KIT, ENSURE CORRECT
1. Remove one piece towing eye bracket (4 bolts each side). Loosely attach Side Arms (F) and (G) to Side Plates
(E) using Bolts (D).
2. Loosely attach Side Plates (E) to inside faces of chassis using 1 Bolt (J) each side and Bolts (H). Attach Side
Arms (F) and (G) to underside of chassis using Bolts (J).
3. Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to Side Plates (E) using Bolts (K). Attach Centre Strut (C) to Cross Bar (A) using
Bolts (M) and Electrical Plate (ZEP2). Tighten all bolts ensuring that the faceplate is vertical. NOTE: Bolts (M)
have a torque setting of 139Nm
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M12 - 95 Nm, M12 – 139Nm 10.9 GRADE , M16 - 214 Nm
