MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
B 1 10mm Coupling Packer
D 6 M12 x 100 x 1.75mm Bolts, Nyloc Nuts, Small Flat Washers (25mm O.D.), 2 Medium Flat Washers
(30mm O.D.) and 4 Large Flat Washers (40mm O.D.)
E 2 Angle Cleats
F 4 M10 x 35 x 1.5mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and 8 Flat Washers (20mm O.D.)
G 4 M10 x 30 x 1.5mm Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (20mm O.D.)
CB 2 M16 x 65mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
Z 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
FITTING
1. Remove towing eye from right hand side (retain for fitment if towbar is removed). Remove two plastic plugs from
mounting points on underside of rear cross member on left hand side.
2. Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to existing holes on the chassis using Bolts (D) with Medium Flat Washers on upper
Bolts (D).
3. Loosely attach Angle Cleats (E) to Cross Bar (A) using Bolts (F) and to rear cross member using Bolts (G), NOTE:
Vehicles from chassis number 132224 do not require the fitment of Angle Cleats (E). Ensure faceplate is
vertical. Tighten all Bolts.
4. Note: If the towball is bolted to upper holes then Coupling Packer (B) should be mounted on forward face of faceplate.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1X) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
