MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
B 8 M12 x 1.75 x 45mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and 16 (25mm O.D.) Flat Washers
C 4 M12 x 1.75 x 45mm Bolts, Lock Washers and (25mm O.D.) Flat Washers
D 2 Sidearm
E 2 M12 x 1.75 x 45mm Bolts, Nut, Lock Washers and (25mm O.D.) Flat Washers
F 2 Bracket
G 2 M12 x 1.75 x 45mm Bolts, Lock Washers, Witter Cage Nut Retainer and M12 Square Nut
S 2 Sealing Plate
ZP 1 Flip-Up Electrical Plate
ZE 1 Electrical Plate Bracket
For use with either
MR24A Flange neck option – ZF3013. Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or
Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the
towbar.
MR24AQ Detachable neck option – ZQ3013. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
FITTING
Remove bumper (2 bolts behind boot side panels along bumper edge, 2 bolts along rear panel, 1 tip screw and 1

push in clip on wheel arch, 4 clips along rear panel and 2 along lower edge). Remove and discard bumper beam.
Insert Sidearms (D) inside chassis openings and loosely attach to existing holes using fasteners (C) with Flat

washers. Note the two different hole positions for the estate/saloon variants. (the battery and jack mounting bracket
needs to be released to gain access to mounting holes).
Loosely attach Crossbar (A), Brackets (F) and Sealing Plates (S) to rear panel using fasteners (B). Loosely attach

Sidearms (D) and Brackets (F) to Crossbar (A) using Bolts (G & E).
Note: Ensure the arrow on Sealing Plates (S) points upward when fitting.
4. Fully tighten all bolts.
Refit bumper and attach Neck option with Electrical Plate Bracket (ZE) and Flip-Up Electrical Plate (ZP).

6. Fully tighten bolts
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M12 (10.9) – 139Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
