Ce siège est un dispositif de retenue pour enfants de la catégorie «universelle». Il est homologué conformément au règlement

N°44-04 pour un usage général dans les véhicules et il peut être adapté à la plupart des sièges de véhicules (sauf exception).

Un ajustement est correct si le fabricant du véhicule a déclaré dans le manuel du véhicule, que le véhicule est capable

d'accepter un système de retenue pour enfants « universelle » pour ce groupe d'âge.

Ce dispositif de retenue pour enfants a été classé comme "Universel" car il répond à des des prescriptions plus rigoureuses,

que celles qui étaient appliquées antérieurement et qui ne portent pas cette étiquette.

En cas de doute, consulter le fabricant ou le revendeur du dispositif de retenue pour enfants.

Le siège auto est seulement utilisable sur les véhicules approuvés et équipés de ceintures de sécurité 3 points fixe ou à

enrouleur homologuées conformément au règlement N°16 de la CEE ou d'une norme équivalente.

WARNING

• The rigid items and plastic parts of a child restraint must be so located and installed that they

are not liable, during everyday use of the vehicle, to become trapped by a movable seat or in

a door of the vehicle.

• Any straps holding the restraint to the vehicle must be tight, that any support-leg must be

in contact with the vehicle floor, that any straps restraining the child must be adjusted to the

child's body, and that straps should not be twisted.

• It is important to ensure that any lap strap is worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly enga-

ged, shall be stressed.

• The device must be changed when it has been subject to violent stresses in an accident.

• It is dangerous for any alterations or additions to the device without the approval of the Type

Approval Authority, and a danger of not following closely the installation instructions provided

by the child restraint manufacturer.

• When the child car seat is not provided with a textile cover, it shall be recommended that the

child car seat should be kept away from sunlight, otherwise it may be too hot for the child's skin.

• Children should not be left in their child restraint system unattended.

• Any luggage or othe robjects liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision must be pro-

perly secured.

• The child restraint shall not be used without the cover.

• The seat cover should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by the

manufacturer, because the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance.

• It is not allowed to use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the

instructions and marked in the child restraint.
