7.
Remove the connector from the hole at the
end of the backrest.
8.
Attach the front end of the strap to the har-
ness group connector, passing it under the
base of the child car seat (Pic. 18).
9.
Turn the spacer in the compartment under
the base.
10.
Store the harness group in a safe place so
they may be reused if necessary.
11.
To reattach the harness group to the child car
seat, repeat the steps carried out for removal
in the reverse order.
12.
Place the child car seat on the appropriate
seat in the vehicle, facing forward.
13.
Ensure that the backrest of the vehicle's

15.
Push the child car seat up against the back of
the vehicle's seat.

Tighten the diagonal section of the harness
by pulling it upwards until it is taut and make
sure the child is securely positioned in the
child car seat and on the vehicle's seat.
Adjusting the vehicle's seat belt
On this child car seat, the safety harness po-

without resting on the child's neck.
Adjusting the headrest
Proper adjustment of the harnesses and he-

child.
WARNING: the headrest can only be raised
after the two "P" buttons on the backrest's li-

headrest: simply pull the handle located on the
upper part of the back of the headrest. (Pic.
20). To lower the headrest: use the lever (Pic.
20-1) on the rear of the backrest, moving it
downwards until it is properly adjusted (Fig.20-
2). Release the lever to lock the headrest in
the desired position. Always ensure the safety
harness is taut, pulling the diagonal part up-
wards and make sure it is not twisted. If the
safety harness comes into contact with the
child's neck or if it does not pass above their
