AC 4019
FUEL/TURBO PRESSURE CONTROL KIT/(-1/+9bar)
CONTENT
• A pressure/vacuum gauge (equipped with a quick coupling).
• 3 meters of pipes for fuel pressure control during road tests.
• 3 meters of hoses for air pressure control during road tests.
• A T-connection adaptable to low fuel pressure systems.
• A T-connection (equipped with standard fittings) adaptable to low fuel pressure systems.
Comprising a set of fuel pressure connections and an air pressure connection, this kit allows the
use of a single pressure gauge to cover all pressure and vacuum controls between -1 and +9bar.
SAFETY
The device may only be operated by trained and qualified personnel.
Before each use, check that the connections are clean and open.
By working on and with vehicle components, there are:
• Fire risk
• Risk of burns
Safety measures:
• No flames or sources of fire near the work area.
• Use exhaust gas suction.
• Recover the escaping fuel and dispose of it properly.
• When the engine is running, comply with the vehicle manufacturer's safety instructions.
INTRODUCTION
The tester with special connections can be used to measure the inlet pressure of DELPHI high
pressure pumps. Thanks to the length of the control tube, pressure measurements are possible
even during the pipe test.
Using a vacuum manometer, the following faults can be quickly detected:
• Fuel supply failure.
• Failure on the circulation pump.
• Failure on the return valve.
OPERATION
Turbo pressure/vacuum control
The inlet pressure is measured between the turbo outlet and the cylinder head. Check that the
vacuum hose does not get stuck between the hood and the bodywork.
In order to avoid measurement errors, when checking the intake pressure, it is necessary that
the AC 4019 is suspended vertically by the hook.
