Overdrive Gain and Volume The Gain control controls the amount of tube saturation in your sound and the volume control controls the level sent to Master control. Tone Controls and Vintage/Modern Switch The Treble, Bass, and Middle tone controls are to help you shape your sound. The Vintage/Modern switch will give you two choices for the range of frequencies that the tone controls work in. -
