Hold the unit with both hands – one
hand on the control handle – one
hand on the auxiliary switch at the
rear end of the control handle.
N
Pull the auxiliary switch (1) and hold
it in that position.
N
Squeeze the trigger switch (2) and
hold it in that position.
The machine is designed for two-hand
operation, i.e. it will run only when the
operator's hands are on the auxiliary
switch (1) and trigger switch (2).

Switching Off

Release the trigger switch and front
switch lever or trigger switch and
auxiliary switch.

The blades are covered by the blade
guard in the idle position (see
illustration).

The blades are partly covered by the
cutter guard in the idle position (see
"Main Parts and Controls").

During longer work breaks –
disconnect the plug from the power
supply.
N
When the machine is not in use,
shut it off so that it does not
endanger others.
N
Secure it against unauthorized use.

Move the two levers (1) in the
direction of the arrows and hold
them there.
N
Rotate the handle (2) to the
required position.
N
Release the two levers and engage
the handle in position.
The handle (2) cannot be rotated while
the trigger switch (3) is depressed.
