15. Disconnect black 23-pin plug from rear control unit and unlock lilac-coloured catch. Unlock
following cables and insert into supplied 4-pin socket housing:
black/blue cable from chamber 8 to chamber 3.

black/red cable from chamber 6 to chamber 4.

16. Insert individual cables from cable loom with red 12-pin plug according to correct colour into
vacated chambers of 12 and 23-pin plug.
17. Push on locking catches and connect both plugs back onto rear control unit.
18. Connect 4-pin plug connector together and re-adhere with supplied foam material piece.
19. Route the red/black and the red/blue cable along existing vehicle cable looms / cable
channels to fuse carrier at front right.
20. Remove fuse carrier, pull forward and open pink-coloured catch. Insert following cables in
respective fuse chambers.
red cable in chamber 1.

red/black cable in chamber 3.

red/blue cable in chamber 5.

21. If fuse sockets 1+3 are not factory-fitted with terminal 30, the supplied cable adapter must be
used.
Insert cable ends as follows:
cable end of red cable in the still vacant socket of fuse 1.

cable end of red/black cable in the still vacant socket of fuse 3.
-
Insert contact with double lug in vacant socket of fuse 19.
Inserting Fuses
22. Insert supplied fuses as follows:
15A fuses in vacant sockets 1, 3 and 5 of fuse strip.

30A fuse in socket 19, if applicable.

23. The "charge line" and "ground for charge line" functions can be retrofitted via the 3-pin plug
for the permanent positive pre-installation.
