NOTE- The pressure in the air cells can be manually adjusted for patient comfort by
entering the tuning mode in the lower right corner of the LCD screen
NOTE- You can also check if the pressure is suitable for the patient by sliding one hand
underneath the air cells at the level of the patient's buttocks. Always leave at least 2.54
cm (1 inch) space between patient and the Continuous Low Pressure cell to prevent
bottoming-out.
5.1.2 Pro-care Optima Prone
6. Switch the power switch on the side of the pump and press power key to turn it on.
7. Pre-set program
2.1 If the pre-set program is desired, you can choose TICK and press the knob, pump will
automatically
2.2 If you have preferred setting, you can choose Mode and Cycle time to enter setting.
8. Once pump recognizes mattress size through quick connector, it will begin to inflate mattress
whichtakes around 30 minutes to complete initial inflation.
9. After completing initial inflation, system will conduct automatic detection of patient weight
and provide corresponding pressure to optimize mattress pressure relieving performance.
NOTE- Patient is NOT supposed to lie on the mattress before initial inflation is completed,
but to be on the mattress when the auto adjustment process about to start.
NOTE- Once the patient is on the mattress, the pump will automatically sense and adjust
the pressure in the cells to support the patient.
NOTE- Pressing the knob for a minimum of 3 seconds can quickly start the auto
adjustment.
Perform pre-set program:
Mode  Alternating
Cycle time  10 mins.
