Never use the product from a ladder, tree
or other unstable place. This could cause
you to lose your balance or lose control of
the product.
Branches under tension can spring away
when they are cut and cause personal
injury and/or cause you to lose control of
the product.
Be careful when sawing in bushes.
The thin stems can fasten in the chain and
hit you, or cause you to lose your balance.
Switch off the product and pull out the
plug before moving. Carry the product
with the front handle and with the bar
pointing away from your body. Transport
and store the product with the supplied
guard fitted. Correct handling reduces the
risk of coming into contact with the chain.
Follow the instructions for lubrication,
tensioning the chain, and replacing
accessories. The wrong tension and/or
lubrication of the chain can result in a risk
of the chain breaking and/or kickback.
Keep handles clean, dry and free from oil
and grease. Greasy handles make it
difficult to hold the product– risk of
personal injury and/or material damage.
Only use the product to saw wood. Do not
use the product for any other purpose
than the one it is intended to be used for.
Do not attempt to saw plastic, bricks or
building materials not made of wood.
Incorrect use can result in the risk of
personal injury and/or material damage.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
BANDSAWS
Hold the power tool by the insulated grips
when working in areas where the tool
could come into contact with concealed
electrical cables or its own power cord.
Contact with a live cable will cause the
metal parts on the power tool to also
become live – risk of electric shock.
Never leave the power tool unattended
when running. Switch off the tool and
wait until all moving parts have

completely stopped before putting it
down.
Always check before use that the
tensioning arm is applied and that the
blade is tensioned.
Secure the work piece before working. Be
extra careful on curves, corners and edges
etc.
The workpiece and motor casing can get
very hot when in use. If necessary, stop
working and allow the product and
workpiece to cool. Spray water or coolant
on the blade when necessary.
Check that the type plate and all the
warning signs are clean and legible. These
markings contain important safety
information. Contact the retailer if the
type plate or stickers are missing,
damaged or illegible.
Avoid accidental starting. Carry out all the
preparations before starting the product.
Switch off the tool and wait until all
moving parts have completely stopped
before putting it down. Otherwise the
moving parts can catch on the surface
and cause the tool to move out of control,
which can result in serious personal injury.
Hold the tool firmly with both hands to
withstand the torque when the tool starts.
Never leave the tool unattended when
plugged in. Never leave the tool
unattended when plugged in.
This is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of
children.

VIBRATION
To reduce noise and vibrations when in
use, limit the time the product is used,
and use low-power/vibration and noise
mode and suitable safety equipment.

minimise the risks of exposure to
vibrations and/or noise.
