19.1. Bath liquids
The transparent thermostat CT 52 is designed for operation with water only!
19.2. Filling / draining
Take care that no liquid enters the interior of the immersion thermostat CT 52 E.
Exercise CAUTION when emptying hot bath liquids!
20. Operating procedures
20.1. Power connection
Connect the unit only to a grounded mains power socket!
We disclaim all liability for damage caused by incorrect line voltages!
Preparations
As a precaution against corrosion, SCHOTT Instruments GmbH
recommends the use of Di-water (deionized water) and tap water at
a mixture of of 1 : 1 to 5 : 1, depending on the hardness of the
water.
Filling
• Recommended maximum filling level with water as bath liquid is
33 mm below the cover plate.
Draining
• Press the mains switch to turn the transparent thermostat CT 52
off.
• Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket!
• Empty the bath tank (with water dispense pump, for example).
Check to make sure that the line voltage matches the supply
voltage specified on the identification plate.
Deviations of ±10 % are permissible.
