Safety notes
Do not clean the unit with solvents (fire risk!) – a wet cloth
soaked in household detergent is normally sufficient.
This device is not designed according to the IEC 601-1
standard and should not be operated in rooms used for
medical purposes and/or in the vicinity of patients.
Many unit parts can become hot as a result of normal unit
functioning – there is a high risk of burns!
Please ensure that adequate contact protection is provided.
Do not move the unit from the position where it was set up
during operation or when it is still hot. There is a high risk of
burns!
Only use the heat transfer liquids recommended by SCHOTT
Instruments GmbH . Please refer to the respective EC – Safety
Data Sheet.
The temperature controlling i.e. immersing of test tubes,
Erlenmeyer flasks or similar objects directly within the
circulator constitutes normal circulator practise.
We do not know which substances are contained within these
vessels. Many substances are:
• inflammable, easily ignited or explosive
• hazardous to health
• environmentally unsafe
i.e.:dangerous
You alone are responsible for the handling of these
substances!
