7.3.3 View IN-A/B (fig . 14)
[14] Buttons to switch over the view
[15] GAIN control to set the gain (volume) for the corresponding
input, level indicators next to the control, input /display field as
a numeric input facility beneath the control (same effect as [6])
[16] Curve representation of the amplitude frequency response
Each of the 10 parametric filters has its own reference point
(small square with the filter number) and a frequency curve in its
own colour . The resulting frequency response of all active filters
is shown as a white curve .
Some of the filter parameters can be set graphically . For this pur-
pose, use the mouse to shift the corresponding reference point:
– horizontal shift to change the frequency
– vertical shift to change the gain
– horizontal shift with the right mouse button to change the
quality factor/ bandwidth
– double-click the reference point to switch a filter on /off

[17] MUTE switch to mute the corresponding input (same effect as [9]
[18] Switch ON to activate /deactivate a filter
[19] List field TYPE to select the filter type: Bell, Notch, Allpass, High
Shelf, Low Shelf, Band Pass, High Pass, Low Pass
[20] Input / display field FREQ for the filter frequency (enter values in Hz)
[21] Input / display field Q / BW for the quality factor / bandwidth (to
switch over, click Q or BW)
[22] Input / display field GAIN to boost /attenuate the level of the filter
Note: The adjustability of the parameters GAIN and Q/BW depends on the
filter characteristic TYPE selected .
[23] LIMITER: sliding control THRESHOLD with input / display field for
the limit value; when the signal level exceeds this value, the
gain will be reduced, i . e . the signal level has been limited to this
specific value
Note: To deactivate the limiter, set the maximum limit value (24 dBu) .
[24] LIMITER: sliding control RELEASE with input /display field for the
release speed of the gain after the input signal level has fallen
below the limit value
[25] LINK switch "A+B" to link the two input channels
(same effect as [8])
