MAKING ICE CREAM

1.
Prepare the ingredients for the ice cream as stated in the recipe. If the ice
cream mixture has to be cooked, this should be done a day in advance so
the mixture has time to cool thoroughly.
2.
Refrigerate the prepared ice cream mixture or the required ingredients to a
temperature of 6–8 °C.
3.
Puree fruit just before mixing the ingredients and add pieces of fruit at the
end.
4.
Use alcohol sparingly and do not add until the end of the freezing time,
because alcohol prolongs the time needed for freezing.
5.
Place the removable ice cream container in the space provided in the com-
pressor housing (4).
6.
Place the mixer (2) on the shaft in the middle of the ice cream container.
7.
Place the mixer exactly on the upright shaft on the bottom of the ice cream
container (3).
8.
Fill the refrigerated ingredients into the removable ice cream bowl. Be sure
not to exceed the maximum capacity of approximately ¾ of the bowl as the
ice expands due to the freezing process. However, we recommend filling the
ice container at least halfway for a homogeneous freezing process.
9.
Place the lid on the ice cream container.
10. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet and switch on the appliance
with the POWER button.
11. The appliance is ready for operation.

15. During operation you can extend the operating time by pressing the Time
button in intervals of one minute to a maximum of 60 minutes.
16. It is possible to interrupt by pressing both time-buttons as well. When you
interrupt the programme, the preselected time is interrupted as well.
17. After expiration of the set time the appliance automatically switches off and
a signal beeps ten times.
18. If the ice cream is not removed within 10 minutes after the "finished" sig-
nal, the automatic cooling function switches on to prevent the ice cream
from melting.
19. The automatic cooling function keeps the ice cream cold for a maximum of
one hour.
