KNIFE BLADE SHARPENING (FIG.B)
a. Place the can-opener on the counter and plug in the appliance.
b. Place the appliance on the side.
c. Press on the lever.
d. Place the blade gently into one of the two slots and sharpen it by pulling the knife
towards you in a slow and smooth motion, without pressing.
e. Place the blade into the other slot and repeat the sharpening motion 4 or 5 times, using
each slot in turns until the desired sharpening is obtained.
Caution!
• Blades must be clean before sharpening.
• Do not force the blades into the sharpener.
• Do not sharpen saw-toothed blades.
• Maximum operating time of sharpener: 5 minutes.
CLEANING
a. Unplug your can-opener.
b. To remove the handle, pull it up, push it to the right, then remove it from its housing (Fig. C).
c. Clean the lever in hot water with soap. Flush and allow to dry completely.
d. Dry the motor block with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it.
e. To install back the lever, replace it into its housing and push it vack to the left.
f. You can fit the power supply cord into the housing provided.
