DIRECTIONS FOR USE
a. Place the can-opener on the counter and plug in the appliance.
b. Pull up the control lever and the hinged magnet (Fig. A).
c. Present the can slightly tilted with its flange against the cog wheel.
d. Pull down the lever and press slightly. Pull down the magnet. The can rotates as the knife
comes in. The cutting is performed automatically.
e. The motor stops automatically when the lid is cut out.
f. Maintain the can or place it on the counter. Pull up the lever. The magnet holds back the
lid cut out.
HINTS
• Do not open cans more than 18 cm (5/4) high.
• If the flange of the can shows an obstacle (bump, nick, weld or tab), start opening after
this obstacle or open the other side of the can.
• Some cans (stacking cans) can only be opened on one side, the bigger one.
• The lid of aluminum cans will not be held back by the magnet.
