Devices having firmware version 1.04.000 do not support all the functions that come with version 1.06.006.

For existing applications the sensor head provides a Compatibility Mode. This is enabled if the IO-Link master permits only devices with the old device
identification 0x030A00. In Compatibility Mode only those functions are available that come with FW 1.04.000.
The minimum cycle time (MinCycleTime) of the
BML is 1 ms.
If needed the master can increase the cycle
time, which is why the actual used cycle time
(MasterCycleTime) depends on the master.
6.2

Process data

The measurement value from the BML SL1... is sent over
IO-Link as a 32-bit integer value. This value is a relative
specification of the set null point. The specification
resolution is 1 µm/digit.
In case of error instead of the position the maximum
highest value 0x7FFFFFFF (2147483647) is output.
Additionally, the process data is marked as invalid.
