4.
For space-saving storage, wind the cord around
the cord wrap element on the underside of the
appliance. To do this pull the cord holder out of
the appliance and wind up the cord.
5.
The appliance must be completely dry on the
outside before you use it again.
DESCALING
1.
To keep the appliance operating efficiently and to prolong its
service life, it should be descaled regularly, depending on the
hardness of the water.
2.
Use off-the-shelf descaling products for electric kettles and
comply with the manufacturer's instructions. To descale, fill
the kettle half full, maximum, otherwise the liquid can boil
over and can cause severe injuries.
3.
Heat the liquid (do not boil!), switch off the appliance manu-
ally by unplugging the power cord from the power outlet of the
vehicle's electrical system, and allow it to sit for some time in
the electric kettle. The electric kettle should not be left unat-
tended while it is heating.
4.
Pour the descaling solution out of the kettle.
5.
Then fill it with fresh water and bring to a boil. Pour this water
out as well. Then rinse out the kettle at least twice with clean
water.
