it is disconnected from the pump station!
To remove the drive from the pump station,
simultaneously press the two keys on the dis-
charge section of the pump station and pull
out the drive (Fig. 10).
!
Caution!
The rechargeable battery or power supply
unit must not be disconnected from the
drive while the pump is in operation (risk
of damaging the electronics).
The pump must not run dry. Switch off the
pump immediately when the container is
empty (risk of damaging the pump).
Never turn the pump tube and the connec-
tion head against each other (Fig. 11)!
2.1 The rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery consists of lithium ion
cells and can be charged at any time.
The charger included with delivery prevents
the rechargeable battery from overcharging.
To prevent deep discharge, the rechargeable
battery must be charged at least once every 12
months.
To charge the rechargeable battery:
1. Press the keys on the side to remove the re-
chargeable battery from the drive (Fig. 12).
2. Connect the charging cable to the charging

3. Connect the charger to the socket. The green
lamp flashes during the charging process.
The rechargeable battery is completely
charged when the lamp is continuously lit.
The charging time is about 1 hour at a
mains voltage of 230 V.
!
Caution!
Only the charger included with delivery
may be connected to the plug connection
(charging socket) on the rechargeable bat-
tery. An unsuitable charger could damage
and overcharge the rechargeable battery
(danger of fi re).
The rechargeable battery must not be ex-
posed to shocks and impacts. If it is, it
could be damaged and high heat could
11
develop as a result (danger of fi re).
3. Cleaning, maintenance and
upkeep
The device must only be maintained and
cleaned as specified in these directions for use.
The pump is maintenance-free.
Please use suitable cleaning fluids for cleaning
depending on the medium that is being pumped.
Make certain the materials of the device are
not detrimentally affected.
To clean the device, rinse and flush out the
pump station. If necessary the inside of the
pump station can be cleaned by pumping
cleaning fluid through it. Observe the safety
instructions noted previously.
The motor and rechargeable battery must not
be immersed in liquid.
The coupling in the connection head must not
be exposed to any moisture and therefore
must not be cleaned wet.
