SERVICE

cal replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the
power tool is maintained.

RESIDUAL RISKS

Even if properly operating and
handling this electric tool, some
residual risks will remain. Due to its
construction and build, this electric
tool may present the following haz-
ards:
a) Eye damage if working without
eye protection.
b) Ear damage if working without
ear protection.
c) Damage to your health caused
by swinging your hands and
arms when operating the appli-
ance for longer periods of time
or if the unit is not held or main-
tained properly.
Warning! During operation,
this electric tool generates an
electromagnetic ield which,
under certain circumstances,
may impair the functionality
of active or passive medical
implants. To reduce the risk
of serious or lethal injuries,
we recommend that per-
sons with medical implants
consult their doctor and the
manufacturer of their medical
implant before operating the
machine.
Assembly
instructions
The brush support (15), the hexagon
socket wrench (16), the metal brush
(17) and the nylon brush (18) are
situated in the two compartments in
the additional handle (13).

Inserting/replacing the brush

Plastic brush (10):
1
Release/fasten the ixing screw on the inside
of the plastic brush (10) on the motor head
(12) using the hexagon socket wrench (16).
Metal brush (17)/

nylon brush (18):
1. Push open the brush support (15) and
attach it as it is to the motor head (12)
(see A ). Release the brush support (15)
and it will spring back into its initial
position.
2. Insert the desired brush (17/18).
3. To remove the brush, push the brush
support (15) open and remove the brush
(17/18) (see B ).
Mounting the guiding

1. Insert the guiding roller (11) on to the mo-
tor head (12). It locks into place audibly.
- If using the plastic brush (10), place
the guiding roller (11) into the trans-
port position (20).
- If using the metal/nylon brush (17/18),
place the guiding roller (11) into the
working position (19).
2. Release the guiding roller (11) by
pushing the retaining tab (21) and
remove the guiding roller (11).
