5.2 Installation and connection

CAUTION!
Installation and connection of the device should be performed only by a qualified
specialist.
•
Unpack the device and remove all packing material. Remove the protective film from
the device.
•
Put the device in a safe place that can support its weight and is not heat-sensitive.
•
Never place the device on a flammable surface.
•
Do not place the device near an open flame, electric heater or other heat source.
•
If the device is placed near walls or furniture, they must be resistant to a temperature of
60 ° C. If the wall contains flammable materials, th ey must be covered with a heat-
absorbent layer.
•
Ensure there is sufficient air circulation around the device. Leave 10 cm at the sides
and 30 cm from the ceiling or cupboards. Leave sufficient space for personnel
operating the device.
•
Place the device under a fume hood to ensure all fumes are removed when the device
is in operation.
•
Do not locate the device in places with high ambient humidity. Excessive moisture
can damage the device.
•
Never place the device in humid or wet areas.
•
Do not drill any holes in the device nor mount any objects on it.
•
Do not place any heave objects on the device.
•
The electric circuit must be secured to a minimum of 16A. Connect the device
directly to a wall socket, do not use extension cords or power strips.
•
Ensure the device is placed so that the plug is easily accessible and the device can
be easily turned off if needed.
