o Carefully lift the circuit box and separate from the device, then clean with a moist, soft
cloth. Ensure that no water gets into the circuitry, as the device can cause injury or be
damaged.
o Use the Henkel handle to remove the basin with water from the housing, then empty it.
WARNING! Danger of electric shock!
Never tough the basin when in use or immediately after finished using.
Hot water can cause burns to arms, hands or fingers!
Ensure that the water is cool by holding your hand 2 to 5 cm above the basin!
o Wash the basket and basin in warm water with a mild cleaning agent. Rinse with clean
water, then dry the cleaned elements.
o Clean the interior and exterior of the device's housing with a soft, moist cloth.
o Never use cleaning agents containing bleach, chlorine or alcohol, nor abrasive
substances that could damage the device's surface.
o Dry the device thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth.
o If limestone deposits form in the basin, descale it regularly to avoid excessive
energy use and reduced performance. Commercially available descalers can be
used, as well as a water and vinegar solution. Rinse the basin several times with
clean water.
6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance
o Inspect the power cable regularly for damage. Never use the device if the cable is
damaged. If the power cable is damaged, have an authorised service center or
qualified electrician replace it.
o In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer
service centre. Pay attention to the troubleshooting tips in pt. 7.
o Only a qualified technician and using original spare parts and accessories should
carry out repairs and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the
device yourself.
