instructions carefully before using the
BISTRO Slicer Shredder accessories with
the BISTRO Stand Mixer.

SAFEGUARDS
– When using electrical appliances basic
safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following.
– Read through all instructions before using
the appliance for the first time. Failure to
follow the instructions and safety notice
can lead to hazardous situations.
– Check the appliance for damage after
unpacking. Do not use it if you are
uncertain, you should in this case contact
your dealer.
– Keep the packaging materials (cardboard,
plastic bag) out of reach for children
(danger of suffocation or injury)).
– This appliance is only intended for
household use. Do not use the appliance
outdoors..
– Do not place appliance on or near a
switched on gas or electric oven or in a
preheated oven.
– The manufacturer is not liable for damage
or injury caused by incorrect or improper
use. Use the appliance only for the
intended purpose.

persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,

damp hands. Do not touch the power

in the ON position and you should not
perform any changes on the switches, in
order to keep them in the ON position.
This could damage the food processor.

– You should never immerse the motor
housing in water: Remember that this is
an electrical appliance.
– Clean the appliance only with a damp
cloth.
– Always pull the plug, not the cord in order
to disconnect the appliance from the
power.
– Do not let the cord hang over the edge of
a table or work surface or else come into
contact with hot surfaces, including the
cooker.
– Ensure when mixing that your hair and
utensils are kept away from the vegetable
slicer, in order to avoid severe personal
injury and damage to the appliance. You
can use a spatula, but only if the appliance
is not in operation.
– Pull the plug from the socket, if the food
processor is not in use, if you intend
to attach or remove parts, and before
cleaning the vegetable slicer.
– Do not switch on any electric appliance,
if the power cord or plug is damaged,
after a malfunction has occurred or if
the appliance has been damaged in any
other way. You should in this case bring
the appliance to the nearest authorized
service center in order to have it
controlled, repaired, or adjusted.
– Never attempt to replace the power cord
of the appliance, since special tools are
