9.3 Set ting the re qui red CO
The CO sup ply ra te (CO bub bles/mi nu te) re qui red to achie ve the de si red pH de pends on a va -

• Re com men da ti on: Be gin at ap prox. 10 bub bles per mi nu te per 100 l of aqua ri um wa ter, i.e.
2 x 10 = 20 bub bles per mi nu te for a 200 l aqua ri um.
• Af ter 1 day, check with the pH-Con trol ler whe ther the de si red pH va lue is achie ved at this ra -
te and the de vi ce is ab le to per form its con trol func ti ons in the cor rect man ner, i.e. whe ther
the con nec ted so le no id is swit ched off in ter mit ten tly.
• If not, the num ber of bub bles should be in cre a sed to ap prox. 15 bub bles per mi nu te per
100 l of aqua ri um wa ter. Check again af ter 1 day. If ne ces sa ry, in cre a se the num ber of
bub bles fur ther in small steps un til the de si red pH is at tai ned.

10 Spe ci al func ti ons

10.1 Au to ma tic pH set ting

The "Au to" func ti on en ab les the ide al CO
ha ving to re fer to the ta ble:
• Press "Au to" key: The green LED fla shes, the most re cen tly set va lue ap pe ars on the dis play
(fac to ry set ting: 04). En ter the car bo na te hard ness me a su red in the aqua ri um with "+"
and " _ ".
• When the keys re main un used for 3 sec., this va lue will be adop ted. The pH-Con trol ler cal cu -
la tes the exact cor re spon ding pH va lue au to ma ti cal ly and sets the sys tem ac cor din gly. The LED
lights up in con ti nu o us mo de.
• To check the set pH va lue: Press "pH" key: The set va lue ap pe ars on the dis play for 3 sec.
