The battery can also be recharged from a PC: connect the charge lead to the USB socket
of a PC. Insert the other end of the lead in the helicopter charge socket, and the red LED
in the plug will glow red. After about 30 minutes, when the battery is fully charged, the LED
will go out, and the charge lead must be disconnected.
4. Binding
Before the fi rst fl ight, the helicopter must be „instructed", only to communicate with one trans-
mitter. This process is called „binding" and is only required once for a new helicopter / transmit-
ter combination.
The Micro Star 190 is delivered already „bound". You can check this easy. Turn on the trans-
mitter and then the helicopter. The LED in the helicopter will blink fi rst for about 5 seconds fast,
then lits up, thus indicating a correct binding - you can fl y the helicopter. However, if the LED
fl ashes slowly after those 5 seconds, you must bind your transmitter/helicopter combination
again.
Proceed as follows:
•
Make sure that the transmitter is turned off.
•
Turn on the helicopter by connecting the battery pack.
•
The LED starts to fl ash for about 5 sec. During these 5 seconds press the left control lever
of the transmitter and hold it in that position. Turn the radio on.
•
Release the control lever now. The transmitter LEDs fl ashes alternately, and the transmitter
also beeps simultaneously.
•
The binding process is complete when the beep stops and the red LED on the transmitter
lights up constantly.
