Carefully remove the nut and screw at the front mounting
bracket. Slide the screw through the cross brace, then
back through the bracket, washers and strut. Thread the
nut on the screw. Attach both braces at this time.

Thread the nut back away from the rod ends on all the
cross braces. Place a drop of thread lock on the threads.

Tighten the nuts against the rod ends to secure all the
braces.
9.
Use a hobby knife with a #11 blade to cut a small notch
in the side of the fuselage. Secure the Y-harness (or
extension) in the hole using silicone adhesive. Allow the
adhesive to fully cure before proceeding.
10. Connect the lead from the servo in the fl oat to the
extension. Use tie wraps (not included) to secure the
extension to the strut.

CENTER OF GRAVITY
When installing the fl oats on your model, you must check the Center of Gravity before fl ying. The installation of the
fl oats will change the Center of Gravity, and as such, could cause some undesirable fl ight characteristics or even
possibly the loss of your aircraft. Refer to your original manual for the specifi cations regarding the Center of Gravity for
your particular model.
1.
When adjusting the Center of Gravity, secure the weight
inside the weight box located at the front of each fl oat.
Divide the weight evenly in both the left and right fl oats
when balancing your model.
2.
Fit the cover in position. Use clear tape around the cover
to help prevent water from entering the fl oat.
3.
Secure the cover using two M2 x 8 sheet metal screws
and a #1 Phillips screwdriver.
