DETECTION KIT/AIR CONDITIONING IMPURITIES FILTRATION SYSTEM R1234YF
PREPARATION
Before any operation it is necessary to create the vacuum of the Kit: connect the red hose (A) supplied to
the sight-glass accessory (B) on the opposite side of the metal mesh filter and connect one of the two high
pressure quick couplers (C) on the other side of the hose, making sure that the tap is completely closed
(anticlockwise). Then connect the high pressure hose of the charging station to the kit on the side left free,
the one next to the metal mesh filter.
Create the vacuum for 30 seconds. Unhook the charging station hose from the kit. Take the other high pressure
quick coupler (D) supplied and, after making sure it is closed, connect it to the male quick coupler near the
metal mesh filter. Then attach the blue hose (E) and at the end the last remaining quick coupler (F), the low
pressure one, making sure of its closure again. The kit is now ready for use.

Connect the kit to the car's air conditioning system with
these simple steps:
• Place the filter in a horizontal position.
• Connect the two quick couplers (C/F) of the
kit respectively to the two high and low pressure
connections of the car.
• Open all 3 taps (C/D/F).
• Switch on the car and operate the air conditioner
leaving it running for 30/45 seconds.
• Turn off the conditioner and close the taps of the two
quick couplers (C/F) at the ends of the hoses.
• Allow the refrigerant contained in the sight-glass (B)
to rest for 60 seconds before performing the visual
anlysis.
• Before unhooking the kit quick couplers, open
only the low pressure coupler (F) and operate the
conditioner to allow the recovery of the refrigerant
gas. The metal mesh filter will treat all the hypothetical
impurities present. Turn off the conditioner only when
the gas has been completely recovered.
NB: we recommend replacing the metal mesh filter
whenever a particularly dirty refrigerant recovery is
performed.
