5. Installation and Commissioning

5.1 Assembly of the flush valve

The flush valve is fitted either using an adapter between the pressure connection and the connection system or at the
cleaning opening in the pump housing:
Using an Adapter (DN80 – DN 150)
First, arrange the Adapter (3) as illustrated, in front of the pressure connection (1). Position the connection mating flange
(4) in front of the Adapter (3). Then fix the Adapter (3) using the bolts (7) between the pressure connection (1) and the
connection mating flange (4). After this, screw it tightly into position using the nuts (7) and washers (6). Then screw in the
flush valve (2) with a medium strength screw lock and arrange it vertically.
