General remarks
Charge battery To start charging, proceed as follows:

Conservation The charger changes over automatically to conservation charging once the battery is
fully charged. The charger continuously displays the fully charged symbol (4 bars).

Charging a deep- If there is nothing on the charger display during test mode, the battery is in deep dischar-
discharge battery ge. The charger charges deep-discharge batteries by gentle pulses over a long period.
Disconnect battery from vehicle power supply/consumers before charging.

WARNING! Risk of explosion from short circuits and arcs. Before connecting
to/disconnecting from battery, disconnect charger from mains supply. During
operation, check that charging terminals and battery poles are properly con-
nected.
CAUTION! Risk of damage when attempting to charge a faulty battery. Before
charging, ensure that the battery to be charged is fully functional.
Switch off engine and ignition, shed all loads
