If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer of its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the following safety tips carefully before using this electrical appliance. This
way you'll reduce the risk of fire, electrocution or injuries.
Read all the instructions.
Never touch the hot surfaces.
Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the electrical cord in water or any other
liquid.
Be very carefull when the appliance is used near or by children.
Remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use or when you want
to clean it.
Don't use the appliance when the plug or the power cord have been damaged, when
the appliance malfucntions or has been damaged. Return the appliance to a service
center for repair.
Only use the original accessories to prevent damage.
Only use indoors.
Make sure the power cord is not in the way and cannot touch hot surface.
Never place the appliance near a stove, a radiator or a hot oven.
When connecting the plug to the socket the appliance must be turned off.
Only use the appliance for the intended use.
The carafe is only suited for this coffee maker. Never use it on a cooking stove.
Never place a hot carafe on a hot or wet surface.
A broken carafe or a carafe of which the handle is loose may no longer be used.
Don't clean the carafe with abrasive cleaners, rough spounge or other harsh cleaners.
The carafe cannot be heated up in a microwave oven.
ATTENTION : Never open the the bottom of the appliance, repairs need to be done by
a qualified electrician. Otherwise you run the risk of burns or electric shock.
Never place the empty carafe on the warm, hot plate of the coffee maker.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
