•
Press the pressure relief tool on to the coupler of the hose or tool and screw the tool and the coupler
together.
•
Wrap a cloth around the pressure relief tool, leave the knob free to operate.
WARNING
Make sure the cloth covers the oil openings, because a cloud of oil may appear without a
cloth.
•
Turn the knob clockwise to release the pressure. Some oil will be released.
•
Turn the knob counterclockwise and remove the pressure relief tool from the coupler.
5.5
Start and stop the pump
ON button
•
Keep the "ON" button pressed to run the electric motor of the pump. The hydraulic pump supplies
oil and develops pressure to the single-acting tool via the high-pressure hose.
•
Release the "ON" button to stop the electric motor of the pump, but the pressure in the system will
be maintained.
OFF button
•
Press the "OFF" button to depressurize the system. The pressure relief valve opens and the
hydraulic oil returns to the oil tank.
Note
The pressure relief valve will always be fully opened, which prevents the load being lowered
in a controlled manner. If necessary, first install an valve (one-way restrictor) in the hose
system. Refer to chapter 3.5.
